Prof. Dr. DonghoKim, receivedhisBS (1980) fromSeoulNationalUniversityandPhD (1984) fromWashingtonUniversity. AfterpostdoctoralresearchatPrincetonUniversity, hejoinedtheKoreaResearchInstituteofStandardsandSCIence (1986). In 2000, hemovedtoYonseiUniversityasaProfessorofChemistryandisnowanUnderwoodDistinguishedProfessor. HereceivedtheSCIentistoftheMonthAward (1999), theSigma-AldrichAward (2005), theKoreaSCIenceAwardinChemistry (2006), theStarFacultyAward (2006), theNationalSCIenceAchievingExcellenceAward (2010), FILABasicSCIenceAward (2017), andAcademicExcellentPrizeinKoreanChemicalSociety (2018). Hisresearchactivityhasbeenfocusedontheexcited-statepropertiesanddynamicsofvariousp-conjugatedsystems.
